Broccoli Bake
Ingredients
- 500 g broccoli
- 500 g cauliflower
- salt
- 200 g cooked ham
- 200 g Emmenthal
- 4 eggs
- 40 g butter
- 40 g flour
- 1/4 l vegetable soup
- 1/4 l milk
- white pepper
- nutmeg
- A little bit of margarine
Preparation
- Boil broccoli and cauliflower in salted water.
- Let them get dry on a sieve.
- Cut the cooked ham in cubes.
- Grate the Emmenthal.
- Fat the form.
- Divide egg-white and egg yolk.
- Melt the butter and stir it with the flour.
- Add vegetable soup and milk.
- Boil it 2 minutes.
- Take it away fom the hotplate.
- Stir it with the egg-york and 100 g Emmenthal.
- Add salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Give alternately one layer of broccoli, cauliflower and ham in the form.
- Stir the egg-white till stiff and stir it with the cheese sauce.
- Distribute the cheese sauce on the layers.
- Scatter the surface with the rest of the cheese.
- Bake it 30 minutes at 200° C in the hot-air oven.
