Potato Bake
Ingredients
- 1 kg mealy potatoes
- 1 cove of garlic
- 60 g butter
- salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- 50g Greyerzer cheese
- 250 g cream
Preparation
- Peel the potatoes and cut them to small slices.
- Lay the potatoe slices in cold water for several minutes.
- Let the slices get dry on a sieve.
- Rubb a form with half a cove of garlic.
- Fat the form with butter.
- Grate the Greyerzer cheese.
- lay the third of the potatoes in the form and add salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Distribute the half of the cheese on it.
- Lay the second third of the potatoes above it and add salt, pepper and nutmeg like done before.
- Distribute the rest of the cheese on it.
- Lay the third third of the potatoes above all.
- Add salt and pepper and distribute cream on it.
- Lay the rest of the butter on this.
- Bake it 45 minutes at 180° C in the hot-air-oven.
