Onion Pie
Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 1/2 package dry yeast
- 1/8 l milk
- 80 g butter
- salt
- 500 g onions
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups of sour cream
- caraway
- 50 g bacon fat
Preparation
- Sieve 250 g flour in a bowl.
- Add the dry yeast.
- Add 1/8 l warm milk, 50 g liquid butter and salt.
- Knead the dough.
- Let it stay covered for 1/2 hour at a warm place.
- Roll the dough on a fatted and scattered with breadcrumbs form (28 cm diameter).
- Peel and hoe the onions.
- Heat the onions in 30 g butter.
- Stir 1 spoon flour, the eggs, the sour cream, the caraway and the salt.
- Add the onions and put everything in the form.
- Cut the bacon fat to cubes and scatter it on the mass.
- Let it stay again covered for 1/2 hour at a warm place.
- Bake it for 30 minutes at 180° C in the hot-air oven.
